Hello.

Firstly, thank you so much for visiting my website.

My name is Pete, and I’m a film maker based out of Oxfordshire in the UK.

I fell in love with capturing footage at an extremely young age. My parents bought me a little flip screen Canon video camera (which I still use to this day) and I became obsessed with documenting and archiving every moment I possibly could.

I have been fortunate enough to grow that early love in to a career where I get to work with couples to make sure their wedding days are bottled forever.

Before my first wedding shoot, I was looking to branch out in to new formats of film making and, being open to new ideas, thought I would give it a try. The connection I felt to this kind of story telling was instant.

In a world where we are bombarded with darkness as soon as we reach for our phones, I wanted to create something positive. Something important, and something hopeful.

WHY WEDDINGS?

Confession time. I’m an unapologetic romantic.

I grew up in a household where love was something to be celebrated. It may sounds cheesy, but my favourite films and books have always been the ones that tell a true love story. Nothing beats an ending where everything works out and the main characters wind up happily ever after.

Filming weddings was the most natural fit I’ve ever felt. After exploring different industries and trying different things, the day I stepped foot in to my first wedding, camera in hand, I knew I’d found the thing I was supposed to do.

Telling the story of the couples I work with is the biggest privilege. I genuinely get hooked on the little details that make your relationship unique and personal. And it’s the best job in the world, being there to watch you declare your love to the world and capturing it all for you.

MY Approach

Every wedding is different. I pride myself on my ability to read both the couples I work with, along with their friends, family, and even the other suppliers I will be working with.

The most important part of your day is you. And my first goal on your day is to make you feel as relaxed as possible. The last thing you need is more stress on the biggest day of your life, so I arrive at each wedding with a laidback approach.

I have learned over the years that balance is a must. Capturing intimate, emotional moments in a candid way is a big priority, whilst also creating the best environment we can to tell your story in the way it deserves.

I enjoy working with photographers to offer suggestions which will elevate the film we are making together. I will never push my couples to do anything they are not up for, and I am always excited to hear the ideas of both yourselves and your bridal party.

The result is a film you can cherish for the rest of your lives, to share with those closest to you, and to remember the day you began a new chapter with your favourite person.

ABOUT ME

I live close to Oxford with my lovely wife Laura, in a little house right next to the countryside. We love to spend our free time outside surrounded by nature, exploring National Trust sites and finding coffee spot hidden gems.

Travel is everything for me. The first trip I took was a solo adventure to Rome in my early twenties, and since then I have lost count of the countries I’ve been fortunate enough to visit. Recently we took a 2 week break to explore the Pacific North-West in the US. If you’re a travel junky too, let me know so we can discuss and compare notes.

I am also a huge music head. I love to get nerdy, writing lists of new albums coming out, comparing festival lineups before inevitably booking tickets for all of them. My tastes are extremely broad (in the gym it’s rowdy and heavy, in the woods it’s epic and orchestral, and in the kitchen it’s pure pop). Music is my favourite way to connect with people.

Speaking of getting nerdy, I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with collecting and playing boardgames. Our collection has grown to around 130 at last count (I’m so sorry Laura), and there is no better Friday night than one spent with friends, an open bottle of wine and a pile of games to play through.
